Phoenix facilitates the award of Certificates of Sponsorship to the Locum Jobs with NHS through its UKBA approved Tier 2 Sponsors. For Substantive posts, NHS UK directly sponsors the candidates.

Qualification Requirements: 

MBBS with work experience in any of the specialties mentioned above 

MD in any of the specialties mentioned above 

Work Experience Requirements: 

One Year UK work experience is preferred. 

Candidates without UK work experience may also apply.

Valid or restorable General Medical Council Registration [GMC]

Salary: 

GBP 60000 to 100000 per year 

Candidates having Specialist Registration may easily earn more than GBP 100000

 Candidate Types and Level of Acceptance   

Candidate Type 1 (Ideal): 

· Holds current GMC registration (specialist registration if they want to work as a specialist) 

· Have worked in the United Kingdom before within the last 4 years for a minimum of 1 year 

· Holds genuine interest in the above specialties 

Candidate Type 2 (desirable): 

· Holds current GMC registration (specialist registration if they want to work as a specialist) 

· Has worked in the United Kingdom before 

· Holds genuine interest in the above specialties 

Candidate Type 3 (acceptable): 

· Has passed the PLAB parts I and II, and is eligible for GMC registration, or 

· Has held GMC registration previously and is eligible to have it reinstated 

· Has worked in the United Kingdom before 

· Holds genuine interest in the above specialties 

Candidate Type 4 (marginal): 

· Any combination of the above GMC registration, however has not worked in the UK before.  

· Acceptance at this level would depend on experience 

Candidate Type 5 (not interested for the present intake): 

· Does not currently have, and has not previously held GMC registration 

· Would be required to complete the PLAB (takes 12 months) 

· No previous UK work experience
